I am Emanuela Rasoira, and I come from a wonderful country: Italy, Milan. My training as a beautician began there, along with my eyes set on the world and a great desire to learn. Graduating in Milan in 1998, I entered the workforce through a prestigious beauty center in Milan. I was fascinated by aesthetics, from caring for people to the beauty of the body. There came a time when all this seemed limited; I felt the need to go beyond the physical body… seeking greater awareness that transcends our “outer shell.” So, I began studying at the Sima school in Milan in 2010, an ancient therapeutic technique called Ayurveda, where I learned various healing techniques such as lymphatic massages, treatments with medicinal herbs, poultices, foot reflexology, biomagnetism, and much more. I have always had the vocation to help others, and every time I can help heal a patient, I feel happy.

In 2012, I came on vacation to Playa del Carmen, Mexico… soon after, the idea of moving to a new land seemed increasingly possible… The Mayan land was calling me, and it resonated strongly! The warm climate and the power of the sea combined with the beauty of its people, the language, and the tranquility were literally the reasons for my change.

Another growth opportunity came with the Acupuncture course at the TAO school led by Rafael Alcantara, in Playa, where I graduated as an acupuncturist. I learned basic acupuncture and specializations such as cranial acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, auriculotherapy, and Reiki. I have always had a great interest in acupuncture, and I am very passionate about it. Every day, I am amazed at how a simple needle can cure serious illnesses. I am now studying advanced acupuncture at the Alcocer Institute with Dr. Tomas Alcocer, a great physician and teacher in Mexico City.

I love being able to live outdoors, practice yoga every day, go everywhere on my bike, read on the beach, watch a sunrise over the sea, and enjoy a great diversity of dishes from other cultures. It was all I ever wanted, and I am savoring every moment. I can only honor and bow before the magical land; breathe the energetic atmosphere, swim and purify myself in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea or the fresh waters of the Cenotes, and transform with the power of fire and the aroma of Copal. Thanks to being able to live under this wonderful sky, my family and I can ask for nothing more.
